Michelle Hooper

Michelle Hooper has dedicated over two decades to high-performance sport and major international sport event delivery and is well attuned to helping individuals and groups set and achieve their goals.

Driven by purpose, people, and progress, Michelle’s highly accomplished career all started when Sir Peter Blake offered her a role with Team New Zealand alongside her university studies in 1999.

From there, her journey took her down various paths and across the globe, initially for America’s Cup campaigns, both in event management and for individual teams, before moving onto senior roles in team management and event delivery across World Cup Rugby, Triathlon, Football, and Olympic sport.

Accepting a trustee role for BLAKE has been a poignant moment for Michelle, who is now the founder and director of her own company ‘Sprintify’; a platform which helps people and organisations recognise their pathway to success and set goals with clarity and confidence to grow.

Her strengths lie in connecting people, building teams, empowering individuals, and supporting others to realise their best. She is a Member of NZ Order of Merit for Services to Sport, Winner of NZ Mega Event & Sports Event of the Year 2023 for Rugby World Cup 2021 and holds a Bachelor of Business.
