Giverny Forbes

I am a 25 year old masters student at the University of Otago. I am studying human – leopard seal interactions in New Zealand. I grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau and have always had a love for animals. I studied animal management and welfare at UNITEC for my undergraduate degree. During that degree I volunteered on Tiritiri Matangi island and for the Hauraki Gulf Cetacean Project. These are the experiences that made me so interested in human – wildlife interactions and how we can improve them.
