Grace Driscoll

I work for BLAKE as a Programme Manager supporting and managing the delivery of BLAKE’s NZ-VR and Explorers programmes. I recently graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Zoology. Through my university studies I developed a keen interest in conservation and education which has brought me here to BLAKE. Joining the BLAKE team is an incredible opportunity and being able to educate our tamariki on our fragile marine environment is a great passion of mine, as well as kickstarting an exciting career in the marine environmental sector.

I love freediving and surfing and want to fight to conserve our oceans so future generations can enjoy and experience its beauty as I have. I have been a volunteer for Department of Conservation and will potentially look to embark on postgraduate study in marine conservation in the future. I also love art and creating ocean art out of beach waste.
