Myah Gallichan

Myah has finished year 13 at Ngaruawahia High School as of 2022 and will be starting at Waikato University in 2023. In October 2022, Myah participated in the BLAKE Inspire program alongside 35 other students for young leaders. This program includes different aspects of environmental science that these future leaders could help with within their lifetime. Myah walked away with confidence and knowledge understanding what she wanted to achieve in her future. She wants to spread awareness and help improve her community to become more environmentally friendly.

Myah will study for her Bachelor of Climate Change with a double major in Chemistry and Environmental Science at the University of Waikato. Myah grew a liking to climate change because of the decline our planet has been suffering in recent years. She wants to create a difference and change the outcome that our world is facing. She wants to give future generations a better place to live and help create environmentally friendly solutions to keep our world and wildlife safe and healthy.
