Rebecca Mahon

Rebecca is a future student at the University of Auckland, undertaking a Bachelor of Science. She loves modern physics, including relativity and quantum physics, and has a passion for environmental protection. With an Ecology and Physics Double Major, she aims to study our environment through a quantitative lens. Rebecca also plays the violin, and has undertaken the ABRSM and Trinity College London exams, passing with merit Grade 8 Trinity. She additionally paints, and likes to blend art with science. In particular, she is keen on raising awareness about environmental issues through artistic mediums, and is passionate about peoples’ connections to the environment.
